Hi, I’m Olaf

I assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that, due to a lack of time or personnel, have to leave existing or new ideas/projects on the shelf.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve helped companies in both the Netherlands and Canada with tasks related to sales, research, events, planning, and organizing.

I’m here to help you bring your great ideas to life: ‘to get things done for you.’ My approach is pragmatic, straightforward, and to the point.

About me

Versatility is part of my DNA. I’ve worked in various industries such as food, entertainment, technology, and travel, and I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities and challenges. Much of my work revolves around relationship management, hospitality, and organization, which all come together in my projects for clients.

Between 2011 and 2023, I lived in Canada for 12 years. It was during this time that the idea for On the Shelf Opportunities (OTSO) was born after two friends independently asked for my assistance with projects that had been sitting on the shelf for a while. After that, I was able to help several SMEs with sales, translation work, events, procedure development, market research, and travel coordination.

In March 2023, I returned to the Netherlands, where I continued with On the Shelf Opportunities (OTSO).
